Systems Engineer (Laser)

As a member of L3 Warrior Systems, Insight Technology team you will provide systems engineering leadership and technical expertise to support the development of laser-based military systems (e.g., rangefinders or markers). Our engineering team is focused on providing innovative solutions that maximize the soldier's effectiveness on the battlefield.
As a Systems Engineer (Laser) you will be involved in many phases of the design process, from concept to prototype integration to production.
Perform engineering trade studies on existing technology (e.g., monoblocks vs. laser diodes, range detection algorithms)
Architect system designs and provide systems engineering guidance for multidisciplinary design teams (optics, mechanics, firmware, electronics) from concept through integration to production-readiness
Translate requirements into system design architecture
Provide in-depth technical engineering analysis
Perform system build, integration, debugging and testing (hands-on product development
Support transition from prototypes to production
BS or MS in engineering (or math/physics) is required
Greater than seven years (7 years) related industry experience required
Optical or electrical engineering background and understanding preferred
Experience with hardware/software systems integration and troubleshooting required
Experience communicating technical requirements to multi-disciplinary engineering team required Experience with MatLab, MathCAD or other analysis tools required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience providing support to the military considered a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
