Copy Writer

GYK Antler is looking for an influential, storytelling master of prose (otherwise known as a Copywriter) to join our creative department. Our job as an agency is to make sure brands are serving their consumers by engaging them in innovative, useful and unexpected ways that are strategically sound and creatively captivating.

For you, this means creating effective and inspiring copy as you work with an integrated team of strategists, experience designers, art directors, content producers, account leaders, and analysts to bring a brand's voice and its campaign to life. You will be asked to create, strategically defend and execute your ideas across all channels - digital, print, social, video, audio and experiential - and the success of those ideas rest solely in how self-motivated you are and how well you connect with the audience.

o Concept, create, present, defend and execute creative solutions across all channels and media, with a focus on strategy, positioning, promotion, communication and branding
o Collaborate seamlessly with art directors and experience designers to inspire and inform consumers and users

o Collaborate and concept on video and audio
o Stay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all writing, advertising and marketing trends

o Bachelor's degree with formal advertising and/or marketing training
o 5+ years of agency experience producing a strong portfolio of strategically sound and impactful creative
o Strong strategic and conceptual skills
o Strong knowledge of digital and traditional media
o Expert proficiency in Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
o Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
o Ability to maintain and meet client deadlines across multiple projects
o Ability to create sustainable SEO/SEM strategies a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
