Our Engineering team works exclusively in Manchester, NH.
Position Description
The UI Engineer reports to the Development Manager and is responsible for the continuing design, development and maintenance of our products. Our products are built on Microsoft's .Net platform utilizing agile development processes and methods. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, process-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communications skills.
Responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with the development team to design and build world class products
Design, code, unit test and maintain our products using Microsoft tools
Work with QA to develop and maintain test plans and enhance the testability
Work with Technical Communications to develop product documentation
Research new technologies that impact products or application space
Maintain a current knowledge of industry tools, trends and technology
Be a key contributor to all efforts of the development team
Required Skills:
Qualifying candidates must possess the following skills:
Experience with HTML 4/5, AngularJS, Bootstrap, TypeScript, JavaScript
Experience with WCF, WebAPI or RESTful Web Service technologies
SQL/database skills with MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, DB2
Strong application or component development and debugging skills in the Windows .NET environment
Desired Skills:
Outstanding candidates will possess one or more of the following skills:
Experience with unit testing using tools such as MSTest, NUnit or MBUnit
Experience using Team Foundation Server
Experience with agile development processes
Data migration and/or integration experience
Familiarity with CRM or ERP applications a plus (Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM, GP, NAV, AX, SL), Sage (ACT!, SalesLogix, Peachtree, MAS90, MAS200, MAS500), SAP, QuickBooks)
Minimum Experience/Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Two years of professional software development experience on the Windows platform using Microsoft tools and technologies.
Senior positions on the team require additional experience
