Part-Time Accounting/Office Clerk

Purpose: Provide part-time (maximum 30 hours weekly) accounting and administrative support for the dealership back office. Supports and promotes the team philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end reconciliations
Audit retail transactions
Process pay-off checks for trade in and interact with appropriate financial institutions in a timely manner.
Process remittances and payables Process
Professionally iInterface with customers, wholesalers, financial institutions.

Accurately receipt contracts in transit, reserve and other monies as needed
Cross train to assist with answering phones on PBX machine
Other items as directed from the company

Core Competencies:

2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team
Proficient in MS Excel (intermediate-advanced) and Word
Great Plains and/or Reynolds Dealer Management system experience preferreda plus
Working knowledge of NH title laws preferred a plus.
Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work flexible work hours


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
