Entry level software engineer to participate in the development and testing of innovative medical devices. Work as part of team that takes concepts through development, testing, and regulatory submission. Candidate must be proficient in C/C+
development, preferably embedded but all will be considered. Candidate must have good analytical skills and be able to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and document software based upon requirements
Document unit requirements at the function (or method) level
Ensures that software complies with the Software Architecture
Create and execute unit tests for modules
Create and execute integration tests
Prepare materials for design and code reviews
Participate in design and code reviews
Ensures compliance with the development process during design and code reviews
Qualifications:
BS/BE in computer science related discipline
1 year experience with C/C++
Experience with development to and testing of detailed requirements
Must be a detail oriented individual
Must be able to work in a group environment
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience generating requirements a plus
Experience with development of medical software a plus
Experience with commercial software a plus
Experience with formal tracking of requirements a plus
Experience with Python, Linux, Java and/or Qt is a plus
Offsite/remote work not available, must work at DEKA.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
