Automotive Service Manager

This position will develop and oversee the Customer Service and Retail Sales of the Service Department. This individual has the authority and discretion to make decisions to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will serve as a backup Service Director and possess the authority and decision making as required in his/her absence.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and oversee Marketing of Service Department
Supervision of Direct Reports to include all Performance Reviews and related matters
Provide World Class Customer Service to all Clientele and Customers
Maintain high employee morale
Initiating and estimating vehicle repairs
Prepare, Monitor and Evaluate Financial data, projections and results of department
Oversee and Participate in all day to day operations relating to Service Department
Preparing bills for customers and pursuing collection efforts
Serve as a backup to the Service Director with specific duties including: overseeing the operation of the Service Department and its employees, handling customer concerns/complaints and coordinating with other departments for the smooth completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance
Competencies:
Proven ability to supervise/lead
Superior Customer Service skills
Organizational and time management skills
Proficient computer skills including MS Office and Dealership DMS systems
Self Motivated
Excellent written & verbal communication
Minimum of 5 years related experience in a retail Service and/or Parts environment
Strong knowledge of automotive repairs, service and practices
Background in Retail Sales and Supervision helpful
Minimum of an Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
