Talent Business Partner

Purpose: The Talent Business Partner will support the corporate HR function by assisting with recruitment, training, succession planning and other programs that are integral to the strategic plan. The position will partner with the various operations and have exposure to the senior level of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the different operations in evaluating the skills that are essential to the positions and then identifying an appropriate training program
Assist in developing best in class succession planning programs
Coordinate and communicate recruiting metrics and dashboards to senior management
Complete sourcing, recruiting and staffing efforts for the organization utilizing experience and understanding of the job market to minimize cost and improve efficiency
Develop the Company site on Linked In and other Internet recruiting sites to better market and utilize our capabilities
Develop a branding initiative including at local colleges to better market the career opportunities and create a talent pipeline
Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned
Core Competencies:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 8 years in an HR role with proven experience in recruiting, training and strategic HR programs
Prior experience coordinating and implementing training programs preferred
Professional, patient and empathetic
Self-starter with the proven ability to complete goals timely
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
Proficiency with Linked In and other Internet recruiting sites
Proven success in a team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
