Job Responsibilities
Looking for Commercial Plumbers with experience in:
The ability to lay out, install, maintain and repair steam, air, water, gas and chilled water lines.
Plumbing in lavatories, plant, ground, floor drains and sewer lines.
Be able to work with many types of materials including: copper, steel or plastic pipe.
Being able to locate, cut, and drill wall, floor, ceiling and roof openings. Make cut-ins on mains and lines. Establishes off-sets.
Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and hanging pipe.
Making threaded, flanged, welded, leaded or similar joints.
Making brackets, hangers, and holding devices to hold pipe in place.
Being able to connect lengths of pipe with fittings with the method depending on the type of pipe used, i.e., with adhesives, soldering fitting in place with a torch, flame cut and burn materials. Using pressure gauges, checks the system to ensure the plumbing works properly.
The ability to dismantle, insulate, and replace components.
Installing glass, non-metallic or corrosive resistant piping and fixtures. Maintaining equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish

Job Requirements

As a Commercial Plumber you must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, understand shop math, and be able to work easily and skillfully with all tools and materials involved in commercial plumbing construction.

Ability to perform basic math functions and use math formulas by solving dimensional problemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
