Datacenter Engineer
Dyn is seeking a data center engineer to help plan, document, implement, and maintain Dyn's infrastructure. This individual will be a member of the Infrastructure organization reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure.
The individual will be highly organized working with internal teams and peer groups and resources. You must be self-motivated and a self-starter who helps ensure the timely delivery of projects. This person will work closely with SysEng, NetEng, Automation, and the NOC to ensure smooth operation and growth (when needed) of the Data Centers. The position will also include close collaboration with Procurement and Finance.
This person will be technical and have previous experience engineering/managing Data Centers and/or like environments.
Major Duties:
Help manage Data Center logistics across the globe
Help manage facility access, security and internal ACLs
Manage information related to DCs and Dyn's network partners ensuring all components are documented
Assist (when needed) with budget management including spending (POs, Ordering, receiving, asset recording etc)
Work with peer Engineering teams and product to ensure the proper planning/implementation of Dyn's facilities and cloud resources
Process and document purchase requisitions
Work with team members to help set goals aligned with the company objectives and providing ongoing feedback
Help identify processEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
