Registered Nurse (Nurse Educator)

The Registered Nurse/Nurse Educator is assigned to the Education department and is responsible for the following duties:
1.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational programs utilizing principles of adult education.
2.
Utilizes assessment findings from competency/needs assessments in formulating programs.
Contributes data to competency development/ needs assessment by other disciplines.
3.
Prioritizes needs.
4.
Identifies specific goals.
5.
Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and/or clinical guidelines.
6.
Serves as a clinical leader and teacher to staff and students, including leadership in the use of simulation lab program.
7.
Takes a leadership role in establishing educational goals with staff and administration.
8.
Implements teaching programs at the service level.
9.
Modifies and delivers programming that meets needs to provide care to patients that is specific to the age and developmental level.
10.
Coordinates affiliations with allied health schools 11.
Coordinates accreditation processes for all disciplines.
The Incumbent serves as the subject matter expert and facility coordinator of student affiliations, VA scholarship and selected employee development programs.
In addition, the Nurse Educator serves as a subject matter expert in competency development and maintenance, works with Office of Accreditation Outreach Network in the development of interdisciplinary continuing education offerings, and serves as the facilities Safe patient Handling Coordinator.
This position contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and/or clinical issues, and Implements teaching programs at the service level.
Current Tour of Duty :
Days (7:
30am- 4pm) Monday thru Friday Due to the nature and duties of the position, clinical education experience and a minimum BSN are required.
MASTER of SCIENCE IN NURSING, EDUCATION OR related field PREFERRED.
(TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
