Field Service Technician

We are a rapidly growing company in the financial equipment arena, with customer locations throughout the eastern United States. This is an on the road position centered in NH, VT, Southern Maine and Northern Massachusetts.
-The primary functions of this position are the troubleshooting and repair of cash handling equipment, and their associated software. Customer service skills are a must.
-Industry experience is a plus but is not required. We are looking for eager and dedicated individuals with a strong background in computer systems (no specific certifications required) and who also have strong mechanical skills. Industry experience would include any high-speed paper handling machines such as ATMs, currency sorters, mail sorters, check sorters, or copy machines.
-The ability to quickly learn new concepts is a must, all training will be provided.
-This a Field Service position, a clean driving record and valid driving license is required. Candidates should be comfortable driving long distances throughout New England. A company vehicle is required; however, the candidate should have their own vehicle in good working condition for commuting to the office or nearby customer locations in certain situations.
-This position is full time, paying 40 hours per week. Overtime opportunities are available for on call evening and weekend service.
-Compensation includes health insurance package, profit sharing, and 401k.
-Must be able to lift 75 lbs without assistance.
-Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, as well as be able to frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit and twist.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
