Summary:
The Management Trainee position provides recent College and/or Military graduates with a series of rotations through various G&K departments. Through hands on experience with mentor led, on-line, and classroom training, Management Trainees are prepared for a front-line supervisory role in an area that best matches his or her interests, skills and abilities, and business needs. This is a great fast-track opportunity to become part of G&K-s management team. As such, we are looking for individuals who will combine hard work and passion to achieve desired results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
A clear and thorough understanding of multiple job functions within multiple departments of G&K Services. You will spend an estimated 12-18 months as a Management Trainee, focusing approximately 4-6 months in each of our three primary divisions: Production, Service and Sales.
Successful completion of the Management Trainee curriculum that includes: discussion activities, observations, hands-on experience, self-studies and group sessions.
Opportunity to be an active participant in various business projects.
An assigned mentor and on-going developmental feedback.
Exposure to two or more business locations (may include relocation during program).
Opportunity to meet with Executive leadership.
Management Trainees will fulfill the position requirements by achieving all key performance measures of each rotational position.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Recent college graduate. Bachelor-s degree preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous work experience or internship preferably in a sales or customer service role.
Leadership experience, military experience, involvement in athletics or extracurricular school activities.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
Willingness to relocate during and after completion of the program is a must.
Multi-lingual skills preferred.
