Summary:Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager of the ASC Endoscopy Center is responsible for scheduling of all outpatient endoscopy procedures. The endoscopy scheduler's experience and/or knowledge should include, but not be limited to types of procedures, approximate length of procedures and scheduling system. He/she is responsible for reviewing upcoming schedule(s), seek opportunities to fill gaps, identify equipment needs/conflicts, contact provider offices for scheduled days off, provide a communication system with specific surgeons and other related personnel to assist in optimal scheduling of cases in the Endoscopy Center.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:Current New Hampshire license for Practical Nursing and BCLS certification required. One or more years of experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred. Strong customer service, communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency. Experience utilizing computer equipment (e.g. keyboard, mouse) and basic applications (e.g. email) necessary; previous experience with electronic medical records preferred. Verbal and written proficiency in the English language.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
