The successful candidate will be responsible for design and implementation of a large, highly scalable cloud-based enterprise system in the medical devices space. Prior medical devices software development experience is highly desired, but not a must. Familiarity with FDA regulated software development process is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Capture/Define functional specification detail during Agile sprint iterations
Design, implement, document, and test software based upon requirements
Prepare materials for and participate in design and code reviews
Create and execute unit test
Create and execute integration test
Ensure compliance with the development process
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

years experience with scalable systems design and implementation
Solid understanding of Object Oriented design and programming principles
Ability to grasp the architecture of a large enterprise system
Ability to help fine-tune, write documentation
Ability to provide clear and accurate estimates of work, and deliver on time
Ability to meaningfully participate in design and code reviews
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Strong documentations skills and a good cultural fit will be important
Privacy/security or encryption
Experience with some of the following: JBOSS, JMS, JMX, configuration, clustering and performance tuning, database design and development using Oracle 10g/11g, NoSQL using Apache Cassandra ver 1.0 and above, CLI, CQL2/3, Amazon AWS development, Hadoop and otherEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
