Duties and
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain engineering CAD/PDM/CAE software systems.
Install new seats of Inventor 2013Vault collaborative 2013, Creo Parametric 2.0Windchill 10.0, Ansys 14.5
Maintain effective communication with the IT department, VAR's, suppliers, internal customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues
Troubleshoot software and support user issues
Setup and manage Lunch and learns
Train users to use software appropriately
Ongoing configuration of software such as updating system attributes, adding material files
Maintaining drawing formats and updating as needed
Overseeing the growth of the vaults so that adequate storage capability is maintained
Manage vault permissions
Delete files in vault if necessary
Act as final decision maker with regard to user requests on system configurations.
Facilitate software upgrades, patches and updates
By utilizing a test server, qualify all system changes before implementing the change to production server
Schedule users for training classes
Perform software validations
Develop and manage Parts Library
Develop and test customizations to software
Light database administration as it pertains to PDM systems
Requirements:
Engineering CAD user experience or basic knowledge of 3D CAD
Recent CAD/CAD administration responsibilities in a research, design, and or manufacturing environment
7
years' experience with high level CAD system:
Inventor 2013Vault collaborative 2013, Creo Parametric 2.0Windchill 10.0, Ansys 14.5 and Pro-E
Experience with the management of CAD data in Vault, SmarTeam or Windchill including the establishment and maintenance ofEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
