Release Engineer
Dyn is looking for a Release Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering team. This full time position is located in our Manchester, NH location.
The Release Engineering team establishes procedures and develop tools that are used by Engineering and Operations teams to ensure new software and configuration changes progress from development to production in a seamless, efficient manner.
As a Release Engineer, you will use your strong technical ability to drive product releases across many different systems and squads. You will work hard to ensure changes are delivered with a repeatable and scalable process.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and improve Dyn's Release Process and associated information
Build and maintain tools needed during the release process
Monitor various KPIs to ensure the program is effective
Perform other duties as assigned / requested.
Requirements
Self driven, team player, with good communication and documentation skills.
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or a related field; alternatively suitable prior experience.
At least 2 years experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management
Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux
Proficient with one or more of the following languages: Perl, Python, or PHP
Strong experience with Chef
Strong experience with source control systems such as Subversion or Git
A desire to teach and mentor others inEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
