Seeking a hands-on tax manager for a group of commonly owned companies. Currently a part-time position, however full-time is possible, depending on breadth of non-tax skills.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Provide tax planning and analysis in the following areas:
Deal structuring
Research & development
Real estate
Company aircraft
State taxation
Foreign tax
Flow-through entities
High net worth individuals
Private foundations
Fulfill all tax reporting requirements for about 20 entities and several owners.
Work closely with and provide support to finance, HR and legal.
Interaction and communication with all levels of employees.
Requirements:
8
years professional experience with superior judgment.
Energetic, flexible team player who desires to operate in a changing environment. High attention to detail, with an ability to independently prioritize and organize projects.
Superior written and oral communication, including ability to communicate effectively with non-financial managers and all levels of personnel.
Position requires an individual with significant tax experience, preferably a combination of Big 4 and industry.
Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance. MST or CPA a plus.
Proficiency with tax software and reporting, as tax compliance is completed in-house.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
