POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for providing support to the entire IT group, as well as, business partners and EHS customers as it relates to ongoing phone assistance, service requests, projects and operations. This position requires an extremely flexible person who can multitask without difficulty. These responsibilities involve assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Customer Service Center and flexible coverage for various areas including the customer service center, data center operations, desktop support and projects. Responsible for assisting all members of the Information Technology and Systems Group in meeting the business needs of the designated departments. These duties and responsibilities will be performed under the guiding principles of the Information Technology and Systems Group, which is to support the business requirements of the organization and adhere to the established standards.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Provides timely and effective service oriented customer phone support. Monitors and controls central computers within the data centers. Provides remote and on location desktop support when necessary. Repair and replace equipment as required and necessary. Works in conjunction with ITSG team members to assist with the assessment of needs and implementations for technical solutions.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience and education will be considered.
Experience:
Experience in health care and Information Technology industry preferred. Experience should include working knowledge of customer service, PC diagnostics, ability to follow written instruction related to setup and operation. Must have a demonstrated track record of successful interpersonal and communications skills and be able to work independently. Extensive knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configuration and standards with the ability to configure and follow written instruction related to setup and operation of desktop devices a plus.
