Summary:
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Acts as a primary source for analysis, design, development and implementation of software solutions using organization and industry standard tools. In accordance with the skills metrics and according to assigned responsibilities the incumbent is expected to be technically proficient in the use of the current and emerging programming languages; ad-hoc reporting tools; and database design and administration tools used to perform job. Works independently as well as manages programming projects according to project management standards. Analyzes information needs and provides effective solutions to meet user and business objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of the Director, Operation & Finance and the direct supervision of the Manager, Epic Support and within established policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions:
Essential Functions:
Performs appropriate analysis, programming, testing, and documentation to produce efficient, reliable, and supportable programs and/or application software.
Acts as a technical resource to support the implementation of new application systems as well as changes and upgrades to existing systems.
Maintains technical proficiencies on the operating system and current and emerging programming languages and tools for the assigned system(s).
Works in conjunction with the System and Application Support Analysts to troubleshoot system, program, and database problems which effect system and application performance.
Acts as a technical resource to develop and support the user community in utilizing ad-hoc reporting and data analysis tools in conjunction with or as an alternative to custom programming whenever possible.
Provides IS and user management with accurate, well defined, and effective solutions to programming and database objectives. Researches alternatives and makes recommendations on different options.
Provides oversight and quality assurance for the programming services provided by software vendors, consultants, or other technical resources. Includes review and/or development of specifications and other project documentation.
Works as an individual contributor as well as project lead within team efforts to design and implement solutions to business objectives.
Secondary Functions:
Participates in appropriate role in disasters, fire drills, fires and other emergency situations.
Exercises care in the use and operation of equipment and reference materials. Performs routine maintenance to ensure continued functioning of equipment. Maintains work area in a clean and organized manner.
Attends meetings and participates on committees.
Enhances personal growth by attending seminars and in-services.
Performs similar or related duties as assigned or directed.

Physical requirements include the ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction; pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling; raise objects from a lower to a higher position, or from a higher to lower position, or move objects horizontally from position to position; apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm; sustain substantial repetitive movement of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Essential functions involve sitting most of the time, but walking and standing are required. Ability to move about on foot to accomplish tasks.
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound.
Visual acuity sufficient for work which deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal operation, extensive reading and visual inspection involving small parts/devices.
Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
If applicable, ability to advance basic computer skills as the health system adds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.
Direct caregivers and certain others, involved in working with critical patient care equipment, sterile pharmaceutical preparation or food preparation, may not wear artificial nails.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Generally Monday through Friday, days. Occasional requirements to work additional non-standard work hours for problem resolution; periodic overnight travel for educational seminars, etc.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field required.
Experience:
Five to nine years experience. Minimum five years experience with EHS specific technologies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
