Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Materials Support Services and within established Catholic Medical Center and departmental policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions.
Essential Functions: Prioritizes daily workload for scheduled and unscheduled supply carts. Provides replenishment and general housekeeping for supply carts in user areas including nursing floors and operating rooms. Performs data entry in Materials Management computer system including inventory pick lists, patient charges, and other functions as assigned. Delivers all incoming goods, supply orders, and patient care equipment to user departments. Obtains signatures where required and processes documentation as needed. Completes daily reorder processing for assigned supply zone within established time frame. Manages supply zone to maintain inventory levels within desired parameters, monitoring quantities on hand and potential discrepancies. Handles incoming department telephone requests and follows up with appropriate information or documents needed service. Responds appropriately to phone messages and pager requests. Completes basic stock-keeping duties for assigned items including charge stickers for patient charge items. Performs daily clean up of work area and de-trashes cardboard as assigned. Provides counting of inventory and restocking of consumable medical goods in Bulk Stores or other hospital supply areas.
Qualifications: Education: High School or equivalent
Experience: Stockroom or warehouse experience preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
