Summary:
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Manages, supports, and expands key computer systems and applications within the organization.Includes system deployment, software configuration and problem resolution of client-based equipment related to these applications.These duties and responsibilities will be performed under the guiding principles of the Information Technology and Services Group which is to support the business requirements of the organization and adhere to the standards established by the Information Technology and Services Group
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of the Vice President/CIO, Information Technology and Services Group and the direct supervision of the Director, Acute Care IT and within established policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions:
Essential Functions:
1.Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of the supported system and key departments that use the system.
2.Maintains application software as required by performing such tasks as table management, configuration control, software version control and account administration.
3.Resolves problems for supported application(s).Makes direct application changes as necessary to resolve problem resolution efforts with other Information Technology and Services staff, end-users and non-Elliot Health System resources.
4.Serves as primary interface between the organization and the supporting application vendor.
Develops a working knowledge of Information Technology tools and utilities that support and enhance the ability to perform job-related functions
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor s degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent experience in related field.Experience with PC based systems operating in a client server environment preferred.
Experience:
Level I
Candidates must have 2-3 years of the following experience.
1.Experience in the following areas:
Work experience in the department(s) of the supported systems.
Exposure to the Information System specific to the supported department. (or a related system).
Demonstrates the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and excellent follow through.
Displays ability to understand system design and process application flows.
Good communication and telephone skills.
Level II
1.Candidates must have 5-10 years of application support experience.
2.Candidates must have 1-year background in the specific area that will be supported.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
