POSITION
Summary:
To administer and score neuropsychological testing batteries appropriate for evaluating cognitive, neuropsychological, behavioral and emotional status including those patients which are difficult, complex, or have disorders in a specialty, in order to assist neuropsychologist and the team in treatment decisions.
KEY RESPONSABILITY:
Administer and score neuropsychological tests as defined in competencies for Psychometrist
Adapt administration of test to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures set forth for each specific test
Provide a written summary of the patient s behavior during testing, including any interactions with the patient s family or peers that may be observed incidentally
Ensure patients referred to the clinic for testing are seen in a timely manner
Write progress notes in the medical record to keep program personnel informed of the status of referrals
Assist with research projects and special groups
Attend training conferences offered
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:
Education:Bachelor s degree in Psychology or a related field required.
Experience:Previous testing experience preferred but not required.
Certification/Licensure:N/A
Software/Hardware:Microsoft Office, Specific neropsych testing software
