We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Phlebotomist/Collections Technician, II in Manchester or Lebanon, NH area.
This is a FT position working a varying schedule including early mornings, evenings, frequent weekends and occasional holidays.
JOB
Summary: Conduct donor health history screening to determine eligibility and complete donor phlebotomy procedures. Perform blood drive support functions as assigned. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive, professional image of the American Red Cross Biomedical Services. Balance production, customer service and compliance on a daily basis, ensuring integrity of product and optimum donor experience.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or phlebotomy training preferred. Documented satisfactory performance as Collections Technician I or the equivalent experience is required. Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are required. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Basic computer skills desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
