Soliant Health has been asked to conduct a search for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for full time employment in a school district near Manchester, NH. The DHH will be covering one elementary and one middle school.
Job Description:
The Hard of Hearing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing available information pertaining to the each students' performance. Other responsibilities will include effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other appropriate staff. The healthcare professional must provide instruction to each hearing impaired student and assist in developing lesson plans for implementing instruction.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Deaf/Hard of Hearing teaching is certificate a must. Familiarity/fluency with American Sign Language is preferred.
