Job Details: The Innovation Project Manager is responsible for facilitating projects of varying complexity through the innovation process for appropriateness, problem definition, prototype development, and rapid validation with senior leadership oversight This position requires a high degree of sophistication, resourcefulness, and the ability to disseminate principles by using previous experience with designing and implementing innovative ideas. .
The Innovation Project Manager must have the ability to act independently and apply design thinking to impact project success and completion. Candidate would have tremendous opportunity to impact the trajectory of the Center and grow professionally at CMC.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a cross functional team across the health system. Serve as a resource to the Imaginovation Committee to ensure project timelines are developed and maintained and meeting minutes are taken to memorialize meetings with various constituents. Serve as researcher and project manager for Imaginovation Committee ideas and concepts. Conduct contextual inquiry/interviews, observing stakeholders and workflows across the health system to learn more about situations, underlying problems and/or potential solutions. Conduct and assimilate internal and external research on concepts associated with defined projects. Develop and quickly iterate visual prototypes to explore multiple potential pathways in rapid validation process. Facilitate development and evolution of prototypes with end users and pilot implementation across the health system. Communicate the progress and results of projects to the Committee and within the larger health system community. Build design thinking skills and innovation capacity across the health system. Support Imaginovation Committee through meeting minutes/notes and communication of finding to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: oBachelor s degree required or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
Experience: oMinimum of five years professional or equivalent experience, demonstrating the ability to complete complex and thoughtful work oExperience in health care a plus
Licensure/Certification: oNoneEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
