Job Details: Under the direct supervision of the SVP, NEHI and Physician Practice Network and within established departmental policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions:
Directs the day to day administrative operation of the practice. Implements best practices in clerical and non-clinical areas, medical record management protocols, and regulatory compliance. Provides or delegates department training and orientation on policies and procedures (e.g. computer, charge entry, scheduling, registration and medical records, practice philosophy). Ensures each employee reviews NEHI Policy and Procedure Manuals. Develops staff accountability and productivity standards. Evaluates and revises standards. Develops techniques/tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient flow including scheduling and patient registration. Develops and implements policies and procedures that support technical and operational functions performed within the department. Interprets and administers departmental policies. Oversees administrative and operational functions of computer system used for charge entry, patient registration and scheduling with NEHI. Performs financial analysis and develops mechanisms that identify and track business trends and MD productivity as well as reimbursement from all significant payers. Provides direction in the patient registration process including the entry of patient demographic and insurance information into the system. Works collaboratively with the hospital Director of Patient Accounts to review billing patterns and corresponding reimbursement. Develops, administers and monitors operating budget. Meets with Vice President of NEHI to present analysis of business trends, MD Productivity and suggests areas of improvement. Monitors changes in Federal and State regulations regarding fee structure and CPT coding and works with Director of Managed Care & Patient Accounts to analyze impact on practice reimbursement. Determines appropriate non clinical staffing levels and makes recommendations with supporting documentation and background information as appropriate. Coordinates and conducts interviews with prospective candidates for open positions. Works with Human Resources to complete the new hire process. Ensures insurance credentialing and re-credentialing is processed timely for participation in managed care and third party programs. Prepares and presents staff performance evaluations in a timely manner. Meets with staff as needed to address corrective and disciplinary actions, including termination in accordance with Catholic Medical Center policies. Maintains support files in computer system. Makes ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding recommendations. Runs month end and or quarterly analysis reports as needed related to practice performance and presents to Vice President of NEHI. Maintains professional competence in legislative and third party regulations through memberships, organizations and seminars. Responsible to share changes with the staff and management of NEHI. Provides an environment for growth and learning through staff participation in seminars and in-house special projects. Recommends continuing education and staff development programs.
QUALIFICATION:
Education: oBachelor s Degree in Business Administration or other related field experience required.
Experience: oMinimum of five years Healthcare management experience. oFamiliarity with computerized practice management systems.
Licensure/Certification: oNoneEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
