Dyn is seeking a talented Software Development Manager to help build a world class software engineering team. This individual will be a member of the Engineering organization reporting to Director of Web Development.
This role is responsible for managing a team of talented developers and help them drive projects to success. You must be able to empower the team to deliver projects on time and of high quality, by providing required tools for the job, identifying team's training needs, and ensuring communication flow. This person must be able to work with the product team to establish user stories, product definition and acceptance criteria.
Provide one on ones and management meetings for filtering down information and opportunity for engineers to provide feedback
Ensure engineers are empowered to make decisions (avoid micro management)
Ensure team members are happy with their position and the efforts they are engaged in
Address training needs by understanding the teams skill sets and incorporating new technologies into DYN
Set individual and team goals which roll up to meet org and company goals
Coach by highlighting on success and providing feedback on opportunity for improvements
Define structure and process where appropriate to aid

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
