WMUR a Hearst Television owned ABC affiliate has an opening for an Administrative Assistant. This position is required to carry out various secretarial and organizational duties for the GM and GSM. Some support to the Business Manager may be required. Additional duties include but are not limited to applying commercial copy to local commercials and billboards, and completing a dub list for master control as a backup for the Traffic Coordinator. Handle multiple, competing priorities in an effective manner.

-Provide efficient and professional administrative support to the GM and GSM.
-Plan and schedule meetings, respond to various inquiries both internal and external.
- Organize travel schedules and book reservations.
-Schedule and verify appointments and meetings.
-Maintain vacation approvals and calendar.
-Manage communications through emails, phone calls and switchboard.
-Organize and accurately maintain filing system of confidential information.
-Coordinate activities with other departments within the station.
-Review and analyze reports on a periodic basis
-Update and distribute the daily pacing reports to Sales Managers.
-Serve as the backup to the Traffic Coordinator.
-This position should be prepared to confer with vendors, buy supplies, manage the office stockroom and get data from a variety of sources.
Requirements:Qualifications Requirements:
Ideal candidate must have great organizational skills, communication skills, and outstanding attention to detail. The candidate should have thorough knowledge of written English; grammar, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation. The candidate must be very familiar with Microsoft Office functions, especially Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Familiarity with World Wide Orbit is a big plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
