The Deployment Lead will support the introduction and operational stability of new products/features/
services
/systems (initiatives) in the regional markets within a Division.
Candidate is required to have a strong background in both telecom and cable industries, and OSS/BSS applications (provisioning, billing, service assurance, field ops); as well as strong program management experience, specifically proven experience driving large-scale deployments through the development of interpersonal relationships based on product and process knowledge and competence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Point of contact to the Divisional PMO (DPMO) and to Business Service Owners for issues, risks, and questions of new business service initiatives.
2. Manage on behalf of business services owners and assigned EPMO PM the DPMO Intake requests in Division and ensure the request and impact(s) are clearly understood by the appropriate Division and Regional stakeholders (this role is division communication facing and is not meant to take over the EPMO PM responsibilities). Gain alignment with division/region stakeholders for each project.
3. The Business Service Person responsible for driving Business and Market Readiness Testing as applicable, partnering closely with the Division and Regional Project Managers.
4. Execution of the divisional/regional activities that are part of the Integrated Project Plan as defined by the deployment lead for the business services' owner for each deployment initiative. This will require close work with the division leadership, and the national teams including division/region CU, CARE, PE, Network Operations, and Technical Operations to ensure alignment around schedule and priority, obtain commitment for resource support and manage schedule and other deployment risks. A key success factor will be rationalizing competing deployment schedules with resources, particularly Comcast University training.
5. Create a deployment communication plan with the business services deployment lead
6. Support EPMO deployment leads to resolve issues involving National Teams
7. Continue with the set-up of market readiness training facilities
8. Conduct post deployment reviews and provide feedback to business owners, product owners, and other national stakeholders as part of best practices formulation
9. Conduct recurring operational reviews, creating an action plan to resolve recurring, prevalent issues.
Required Skill Sets:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Telecom (MSO, CLEC, IXC, RBOC, etc.) environment focused on the product, system, and infrastructure deployments
- A demonstrated ability to gain alignment from disparate stakeholders for projects
- Experience with Advanced Voice, Ethernet/Data and Networking commercial products
- Knowledge of Enterprise OSS/BSS architectures a Plus
- Proficiency with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
