Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule, ensuring their safety and well-being - Provide exercise and playtime for dogs during walks - Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly - Follow any specific instructions or guidelines provided by dog owners - Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks and report any concerns to the owner - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and their pets - Keep accurate records of each walk, including the duration, distance, and any notable observations through our app Optional Opportunities:
-Ability to help with overnights and adventure hikes if desired Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older - Previous experience in animal handling or related field (e.
g.
, pet grooming, kennel, veterinary assistant/technician) - Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments - Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting (e.
g.
, lifting large dog crates or bags of dog food) - Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients - Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or designated walking areas - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends (one Saturday or Sunday per week) and holidays as needed - Knowledge of basic animal care and first aid is a plus, but can be trained Job Type:
