ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has immediate opening for Marketing Intern at the SNHU Arena, Manchester, NH 03101This is a part time position as an internPOSITION SUMMARY SNHU Arena is looking for a part-time Marketing Intern who is self-motivated, creative, passionate about the arts, entertainment and hospitality, with a great attitude, strong organizational skills, works well independentlyThe marketing intern will be a major contributor and creator of our social media content through various social media platformsThis marketing intern will contribute to making engaging content while informing, guiding and showcasing the diversity of our events and patronsTo thrive in this role you will need to be able to work well independently while having strong communication skills - both verbally and written, and be an organized forward-thinkerThe right candidate will be very creative and is willing to bring his or her creativity and ideas to the tableThe perfect candidate must be a polished and confident communicatorYou not only grasp how our digital entities can transform our customer's experience, but you have enthusiasm for everything social, from copywriting to creative visuals to overall strategy to simply engaging with people on social platforms and in personYou bring a willingness to understand our unique offering in the market, along with our distinct processes and workflow.
Responsibilities of the Marketing InternWork alongside the Director of Marketing to create plans for monthly social media strategies and help assist in the growth of the brand, promote events and the venue Perform a range of marketing support duties related to the venue event calendar Assist in implementing plans to increase followers, promote events and the venue on popular social media websites such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn Help to develop content for all social media platforms, as well as assisting the director with projects for marketing and administrative tasks Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant and consistent from the terminology used to images posted Capture day of show content and coordinate with media on site for events Very strong writing skills with the ability to write engaging content for various audiencesHave a sense of humor, quick-wittiness, and seek creativity of thought when applicableProvides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Qualifications for Marketing Intern Degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field preferred 1-2 years of social media experience preferred Strong knowledge in running social media campaigns and engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat etcEntry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach & determining how to cater unique marketing campaigns to a unique audience Knowledge of analytical toolsCreative mindsetAbility to multitaskProfessional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot Comfortable with working with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content Superior communication and interpersonal skills Tech savvy with a passion for mobile technologies, innovation, and emerging categories Must be at least 18 years old Additional Information If you feel like you are an excellent fit, include any relevant projects, social media links and campaigns, and your cover letter where you tell us a little about yourself and why you think you'd be a great addition to our globally recognized award-winning team of rockstars!
