Position Overview:
Enter, update, and track patient insurance information in EMR Set up accounts and work with billing dept.
on insurance claims, co-pays, etc.
Process insurance verifications and prior-authorizations Assist patients with eligibility and other benefits related questions Work with insurance carriers and state benefit programs Run reports, perform clerical and other administrative tasks as needed Requirements:
High School Diploma; College Educations a Plus 1+yr Administrative/Medical Office Support Basic understanding of Medical Insurance- EOBs, Claims, etc.
Computer skills:
MS Office Suite (EMR & Billing software a plus) Wilingnes to complete pre-employment and occupational health screenings Ability to work in-office M-F 8-5 for training.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
