Asset Protection Manager

Bob's Stores is is looking for an experienced Asset Protection Agent (Manager) to support our various Store Districts.
We are currently look for an individually who would be based in New Hampshire (Manchester, NH), but has the ability to travel to both Vermont and Maine as needed.

Overview:
The Asset Protection Manager develops, implements, and maintains systems that improve AP and operational effectiveness while increasing customer satisfaction.
The AP Manager collaborates with all departments to ensure that systemic sources of shrink and loss are recognized and addressed.
They are responsible for investigations and audits that are both routine and responsive to incidents.
The AP Manager is the principal liaison for justice authorities and outside AP/Security vendors.
They create materials and train associates in state of the art AP practices.
The Asset Protection Manager personifies integrity and enhances Asset Protection awareness throughout the entire organization.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
Manage Asset Protection Department that reduces shrinkage while maximizing customer satisfaction.
Increase Asset Protection awareness throughout both Bob's Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports.
Rapidly respond to and conduct investigations as needed.
Devise methodologies and conduct field audits.
Liaise with police and courts as needed to effectively prosecute criminal activity.
? Coordinating with the Store Operations Department, develop and implement systems and procedures that streamline operational efficiency, maintain AP integrity and enhance customer satisfaction throughout the entire Bob's Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports infrastructure:
from receipt flow in the Distribution Center through the selling process in Stores to Sales Audit and RSL balancing in the Accounting Department.
Collaborate with the Accounting Department for Physical Inventory and Cycle Counts.
Analyze Store Operations and business practices with the goal of reducing chronic/systemic sources of shrink.
? Devise and communicate AP Goals and incentives.
Coordinate with the Training Department to engineer and deliver AP Training Programs.
Collaborate with District, Store, Customer Service, Distribution Center and Fulfillment Center Managers to ensure the effective implementation of AP initiatives.
Support new and renovation stores with enhanced AP support.
Teach associates to respond to and resolve all customer concerns in a manner that increases customer loyalty.
Manage relationships with outside vendors that focus on AP and Security Issues.
Visibly lead Bob's Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports as a role model of AP integrity and customer satisfaction.
Complete required paperwork on time and accurately.
Job Requirements:
Previous Work
Experience:
Two or more years of progressive asset protection experience or related retail experience with at least two years in a multi-store supervisory environment.
Education:
A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.
Computer Skills and Software:
Experience with computers, POS systems, retail store systems, and e-mail.
Abilities:
Effective communication with diverse individuals and groups in writing and verbally (in person, using telephone systems, task management software, and via e-mail).
Always know the audience and communicate professionally with them.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with Store and Home Office associates, vendors and customers.
Read and interpret information received via mail and e-mail.
Solution oriented.
Participate in various problem solving and decision-making activities requiring skills such as reading, writing, analysis, prioritizing, independent thinking, listening, speaking, and delegating.
Respond to urgent circumstances within the district during and after store hours, including alarm calls, emergencies, etc.
Demonstrate integrity, respect for individuals and ethical behavior.
Physical Requirements:
Vision, speech, and hearing.
Operate various equipment - office and hand tools requiring manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination (perform various computer keyboard functions).
Able to work 45
hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to work 10-11 hours per day and/or 6 days per week during peak selling times.
