Shelter Support Staff - PER DIEM Manchester, NH Description Families in Transition is seeking to fill two per diem positions to supplement current staffing and to cover gaps in scheduling.

Work at the LARGEST adult emergency shelter in the State of New Hampshire (138 beds) working with men and women experiencing homelessness.
As a Shelter Support Staff member, you would be responsible for monitoring safety and the well-being of our shelter participants; monitoring and enforcing all policies including no substance use or illegal behaviors in the shelter; providing a safe, clean, and non-threatening environment to persons experiencing homelessness.
Staff provide continuity of operations during their shifts which includes; coordinating bed assignments, ensuring a smooth intake process each night, supporting and triaging mental health crisis and monitoring the shelter are just a few responsibilities of this unique role.
No previous experience required.
Experience with mental health or substance use disorders appreciated.

Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience/Certificates/Licenses):

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
