Summary:
Registered Nurse Emergency DepartmentTo deliver care and create a therapeutic environment for patients and families whose needs range from basic to complex by utilizing the nursing process.
To carry out functions in a manner consistent with Performance Improvement and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
To demonstrate clinical excellence through proficient practice which enhances and enriches the practice environment.
Proficiency is evidenced by adeptness, facility, aptitude, ease and skill in managing complexity and uncertainty.
Emergency Department American College of Surgeons Level 3 Trauma Center Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center Cardiac Center of Excellence WORK SCHEDULEWork schedule is typically 12 hours per day with weekend coverage based on individual unit needs and call based on departmental/unit needs.
Personnel may be expected to cover for patient care needs by rotating or working extra shifts.
Nursing personnel are assigned to one area upon employment, but may be required to assume assignments in other areas to meet patient needs.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN strongly preferred.
Specialty certification preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) qualifications during orientation period and maintain during employment.
Certifications per unit requirements:
Refer to Education, Credentialing and Certification Policy.
Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Credentialing Health Care Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
