Research Associate
Piper Life Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to join one of the top biotechnology companies in the Manchester, NH area.
This role supports advanced areas of research including 3-D bioprinting and regenerative medicine!Responsibilities for the Research Associate include:
oPerform cell culturing and other cell-based assays within a BSL-2 environmentoUtilize 3D printers and microscopes to create cell culture models to evaluate cellularized scaffolds, cell type behavior, and phenotypesoExecute and design cellularization studiesoPrepare reagents and media to support cellularization experimentsoAssist in establishing and implementing protocols and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for cell culturing in bioreactor and perfusion systemsoMaintain bioreactors, culture systems, reagents, and media to facilitate workflowQualifications for the Research Associate include:
oBachelor of Science in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field is required; Master of Science in Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar is preferredo6
months of working in a GLP environment, BSL-2 lab, or equivalent industry experience is requiredoStrong knowledge and execution of mammalian cell culturing and aseptic technique is requiredCompensation for the Research Associate includes:
oSalary Range:
approximately $28 - $38 hourly, commensurate with experienceoFull
