# Job Description
Integrys Energy Services, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a Gas Scheduler/Forecast Analyst or Senior Gas Scheduler/Forecast Analyst to be located at any one of our Integrys Energy Services office locations. For a highly qualified and skilled individual with gas scheduling experience, we may also consider an individual with a work from home office if no nearby company offices are in close proximity.
The Gas Scheduler/Forecast Analyst position will be responsible for ensuring that all scheduling processes (nominations, confirmations, etc.) take place in an efficient and timely manner with regard to Pipeline and LDC deadlines. This position requires analyzing data, monitoring and reconciling imbalances, setting up make-up / pay-back schedules with appropriate shippers, and initiating settlements. In addition, this position will work within a team based environment to provide customer load analysis, supply requirements forecasting, inventory balancing, and supply scheduling services. The successful individual will be responsible for the accurate entry of supply requirements, supply schedules, customer usage, and the proper maintenance of historical usage data in Integrys computer applications and also investigate unusual load fluctuations and metering issues. In this role, you will develop and maintain working relationships with LDC''s, internal and external customers and create special analysis reports along with lending expert knowledge related to tariff concerns or other industry issues to external and internal customers.

Responsibilities: Investigate pipeline and LDC scheduling and transportation alternatives and schedule gas along most efficient route each day. Promote positive counterparty relationships through efficient scheduling practices and identify profit opportunities through capacity release and gas displacement mechanisms. Communicate to the trading group all pertinent information to assist in decision making and ensure full utilization of supply and capacity. Resolve all scheduling issues including pipeline cuts, imbalances, penalties and tariff analysis.
Gas Applications: Enter all relevant data into a gas management system and ensure data is accurate. Provide expert assistance in the continuing development of gas management computer systems used by Integrys.
Process Efficiency & Quality Assurance: Gain a thorough understanding of assigned retail gas geographic markets to assist in the application of the Operational Excellence initiative and use of Lean Tools / Techniques to standardize and streamline gas deal management processes while ensuring customer value add. Assist in the design and implementation of retail gas policies, processes and procedures to maximize overall effectiveness. Work with Senior Team members to identify and coordinate the proactive resolution of operational issues and/or processes prior to and during the month end close cycle. Gain a high-level understanding of all retail gas geographic markets and comprehend reasonable trends and potential issues related to accurately scheduling and forecasting the supply for Integrys customers and meeting or exceeding posted deadlines.
Knowledge of Contracts and Tariffs: Obtain a working knowledge of Utility Tariffs and Customer Contracts to ensure a solid understanding of the rules and regulations that our customers operate within. Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure responsive and effective customer service. Ensure that Integrys delivers the appropriate volume of gas to the city gate during critical periods based on Tariff rules and customer contracts. Work closely with senior team members & retail gas traders to ensure gas supply is available and proper notices are sent to customers. Assist in the development and implementation of systems/processes to track customer load requirements, MDQ''s, tolerance levels, or flow restrictions during Critical days across all Integrys markets.
Gas Retail Enduser Forecast: Coordinate and execute processes to ensure accurate forecasting, balancing, and reconciling of all pools, common ownership groups, and individual end-user accounts. Analyze historical customer usage data, knowledge of planned outages or load swings, and current weather trends to ensure inventory levels remain within supply strategies and Local Distribution Company''s balancing parameters.

Minimum
Qualifications: - At least 5 years of computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred) and the ability to learn new computer applications
At least 5 years experience handling multiple priorities / meeting deadlines
At least 1 year understanding Accounting principles
Preferred
Qualifications: -A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business related dicipline is preferred.
Prior gas scheduling experience is also preferred.
