Duties:
RFQ Process Support:
-Coordinate RFQ activities within the plant including:
-Launch Process & Approval
-Make/buy decisions, labor/set-up/NREquotes (with
Engineering)
-Component quoting (as delivered by Regional cost estimation group)
-Quote Tracking and Status Reporting- including win/loss analysis Overall quote rollup and presentation to plant management for approval
-Transfer of Quote information on winning bids to ERP System via Doc Control and Cost Accounting groups
Cost Analysis and Roll-up Support:
-Coordinate review and resolution of margin analysis exceptions with Purchasing, Engineering and Program Management
-Assist program teams in external cost update process as required
Program Transition Support- New accounts/New Major Programs
-Responsible for all administrative aspects of the program up to and including transition to existing program administrator for current accounts. Works closely with the Program Manager and with various departments to manage start-up of new programs to meet program delivery goals.
Qualifications:
oBusiness degree program or commensurate experience, preferably in High Technology or Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Operations
oExperience in Materials, Supply Chain and/or Cost Accounting, preferred
oStrong analytical and project management skills. Good business sense. Drive profitability through good understanding of our material and labor costs as they relate to our desired business goals.
oProficient with MS office (emphasis on Excel), highly proficient ERP system experience (preferably Oracle)
oStrong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable in interacting with suppliers as well as Sanmina customers.
oSelf-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitment, able to work in teams and as an individual contributor
Must have Contract Manufacturing experience.
Must have Oracle 11i.
Must have 4 years of Quoting experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
